Nashik District Kabaddi Association founded in 1973. Since founded association continuously taking an effort to promote Kabaddi at all levels from talukas to state level. Successfully organize tournaments on District level as well as State level.

With the inspiration to this International players winner of most prestigious sports award "Chatrapati Shivaji State Sports Award" Anuradha Dongaonkar, Bhakti Kulkarni, Nirmla Bhoi, Madhuri Gaidhani, Parshuram Jhande legendary players contribute to this state from Nashik District. From 2010 in association with Bhujbal Foundation and Nashik District Association promoted Kabaddi in Nashik Festival to promote players from the tribal area like Igatpuri, Peth, Surgana, Kalvan, Dindori and rest of 15 talukas of Nashik District. which is the biggest milestone of association.
